Wyndham's Theatre

The Wyndham Theatre is situated on Charring Cross Road and is one of 2 theatres created and opened by the Actor Charles Wyndham. The Wyndham Theatre was his pipedream and became a reality with the financial support of his wife to be, Mary Moore. The theatre was designed by W.G.R. Sprague and first opened its doors in November 1899. The Wyndham Theatre has seen numerous success stories including the 'The Boyfriend', 'The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie' and more recently the religious musical 'Godspell'.
