Queen's TheatreThe Queen's Theatre is situated on the Shaftesbury Avenue and first opened its doors in 1907, and was built as one of a pair of theatres side by side by the famous architect W.G.R. Sprague. The original Portland stone façade was sadly destroyed in 1940 during a German blitz bombing and the building was rebuilt in the late 1950's. The original architecture can still be seen in the sister theatre the Geilguld next door. The Queen's Theatre has seen numerous successful plays but its current production of 'Les Miserable's has already become the longest running musical of all time. ![]() Showing: Les Miserables Queen's Theatre | Performances | Information | Directions | History |
