     Peacock TheatreThe Peacock Theatre is situated on the Kingsway just up from the Aldwych and is now owned by the London School of Economics. Whilst it is used during the day for lectures for the LSE, it is also home to the great Saddlers Wells Theatre Company and still used by them at night to put on their productions of leading West End shows. The Peacock first opened its doors in 1911 and has been the site of theatre and dramas ever since, except for a period of use as a TV live studio for the recording of a popular TV programme 'This is your Life' during the sixties.
