     London Theatre Tickets » List of London Theatres » Noel Coward Theatre Noel Coward TheatreThe Noel Coward Theatre is situated on St.Martins Lane and backs on to the Wyndham Theatre. Both Theatres were the creation of the same architect, W.G.R. Sprague, and the Noel Coward Theatre was created to fill the spare space that was acquired by the owner Charles Wyndham, whose namesake was applied to the Wyndham Theatre. The New Theatre, as it was known, first opened its doors in 1903 and later changed its name to the Albery Theatre in 1973. It finally changed again to be named the Noel Coward Theatre in memory of Noel Coward who was one of England's finest actors and eccentric English gentlemen.
