Mamma Mia - The Story

The setting is a Greek Island and through the story telling ability of the songs the musical Mamma Mia introduces Donna a strong willed forty plus single mother who recalls and reminisces about her carefree days and nights of her youth, whilst her daughter Sophie is more of a traditionalist and dreams of romance and big white wedding. On the eve of Sophie's wedding she attempts to discover the true identity of her father and in so doing brings 3 men from her mother's carefree life from her past, back to the island they had left more than 20 years ago.

The mother is forced to confront her past and the 3 men on the eve of her daughters wedding. The magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, humour and friendship. Every night since the musical first opened, it has enchanted audiences to join in and reminisce as well as sing along to those songs that brings such happiness and joy to all those who remember them.
