     Her Majesty's TheatreHer Majesty's Theatre is situated on the Haymarket and first opened its doors in 1705. The Site has seen 4 theatres and in just over 300 years the theatre has become one of the most established West End theatres. It is famous for staging the longest running production in 1916 of a mystical musical from the east called 'Chu Chin Chow' which ran for 2,238 performances. This was only superseded by the now legendary 'Mouse Trap', which is still running at St.Martin's Theatre after 54 years (it left Her Majesty's Theatre in 1974). Her Majesty's Theatre has staged numerous success stories and is still enjoying success with Sir Andrew Lloyds Webber 'Phantom of The Opera' which has been running since 1986 as at December 2006.
