     Comedy TheatreThe Comedy Theatre is situated just off the Haymarket and is one of the oldest theatres in London's West End. Built in 1881, the Comedy Theatre was originally named the Royal Comedy Theatre but dropped its royal title after only several years, as it did not officially hold a royal warrant permission to do so. The Comedy Theatre is a splendour to behold with its original layout over 4 tiers and its Victorian renaissance style interior décor still to be enjoyed today.
