Built in 1881, the Comedy Theatre was originally named the Royal Comedy Theatre but dropped its royal title after only several years, as it did not officially hold a royal warrant permission to do so. The Comedy Theatre is a splendour to behold with its original layout over 4 tiers and its Victorian renaissance style interior décor still to be enjoyed today.
