Hugh Hughes: The Wonderful World of Hugh Hughes - HoipolloiEmerging Welsh artist Hugh Hughes shares three joyful stories inspired by his own life, presented alongside new work created especially for this residency. Floating is a comic exploration of the impossibility of leaving one's place of origin and tells the remarkable story about the day when the Isle of Anglesey floated away from mainland Wales and drifted into the Atlantic. Story of a Rabbit sees Hughes puzzling over what to do when he finds his neighbour's rabbit lying dead in his garden and 360 is a story about friendship and sharing. The trilogy is complemented by 360+, a series of related events, led by Hughes. BITE10
